What Causes Ear Pain And Shoulder Pain?
Good day. I have had a"sore ear"(left) for years. Worst is if even a drop of water gets into the ear. Seen drs. - antibiotics, drops - sinus meds, nothing helps. Latest attack very bad, I do feel postnasal drip going down left side of throat. Worst now is the very painful gland just below the ear that always comes out and a VERY painful shoulder - can the shoulder be part of it? The ear is blocked and hearing seems to be a bit diminished. I am 58. 152cm and 57kg.

Probably, there is no relation between shoulder pain and ear pain. You may be suffering from a middle ear infection and shoulder muscles spasm or Osteoarthritis at a time.
Use tablet Ultracet twice a day for five days, avoid cool drinks and freeze water. Use water vapour inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.
If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.
