What causes ear infection along with headaches?

Hi my 6yr old daughter has an infection in her ear and we have been giving her amoxocillian, calpol, ibruprofen. She has had a temperature of 40.1and headaches for the last few days and is very hyperactive like a 3yr old on sweets. Is this normal when a fever is coming on ?

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, without the evidence of infection antibiotic should never be given in this age group such symptoms could be due to allergic condition or viral fiver and does not need any treatment, but of course symptomatic medicine can be tried like, analgesic and antipyretic, no need to worry about this, let run the course of disease and everything would be fine soon, take care .
