What Causes Dysphagia With Pain On Ingestion?

Hi. For the last three days, every time I eat food (solid or soft), I feel pain. I also feel like the food is getting stuck. I had a Lapband placed about a year and a half ago, but everything has been great. I have also had x-rays done with barium and the test showed that I was fine. I have not had any adjustments to the Lapband for almost a year, so I sincerely doubt it has anything to do with being tight. I do not know if I may have a problem with my gallbladder, a hiatal hernia, or maybe even achalasia.

X- rays with Barium is a good test to exclude a hiatal hernia, achalasia. Even gallblader problems seem not to be the cause of your last symptoms so I d'really suggest to control firstly your Lapband of course if your symptoms last again. The second to do would be in my opinion an upper digestive endoscopy. I'd be very interested in knowing about you again.
