What Causes Dryness In The Left Eye?

I have a very dry left eye. On a number of occasions I ve been to the doctor with dry red sore eyes. Over the last 2 years I have been on medication, drops, gels and even have duct plugs inserted. The redness and soreness is under control. The only thin i use now is eye drops. My problem now is, my eye waters constantly - every minute of every day I am dabbing my eye with tissue due to watering. How do I control this?

Some reasons that cause dryness on the eyes are:
-your air conditioner, heater, or other things around you could dry out your tear film.
-The natural aging process, especially menopause
-Side effects of certain drugs like antihistamines
Some advices that I can give to you are :
-Artificial tear drops and ointments. This is the most common treatment.If you have chronic dry eye, you need to use the drops even when your eyes feel fine, or they won’t stay wet enough.
-You can use steroid eye drops, for short periods, along with long-term measures.
-Adding fish oil or omega-3 to your diet or can also help
