Hi..
Thanks for the query..
As per your complain Clop-G is a
steroid and antibiotic combination containing
Clobetasol [steroid] and
Gentamycin [antibiotic]...
Long term use of steroid based cream is not advisable as it causes more of harmful effects on skin than useful effects..
Steroid application on face can cause skin thinning, increased pigmentation, rashes causing
redness and inflammation and there can also be increased hair growth..
So my suggestion is that you should consult a Skin Specialist and get evaluated and do not at once stop using the cream..
The specialist can advise you a gradual tapering method to gradually reduce the frequency of stopping the cream usage and then stopping the use..
Once the use of cream will be stopped, then there will be gradual improvement in the skin tone and dryness..
As of now you should avoid any kind of skin cosmetics and simply use
Aloevera gel for lubricating your face..
Wash your face multiple times a day with cold water..
You should keep patience as the symptoms will gradually improve..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
