I m 18 years old and my eyebrows have been falling out for a while now. It s several each day which over time has made parts very sparse and I m very self conscious about it. Hairs grow back eventually but more fall out. The skin beneath my eyebrows used to be very dry and flaky (large flakes) which the hairs were attached to and made more come out. I went to my GP and he said it was just dry skin and then if I kept it moisturised the hairs should stop coming out but I have being doing this and it has not helped. The skin is no longer dry and flaky at all thanks to the moisturising but the hairs still consistently come out. As if it s helped at the surface but not actually solved the problem. I ve been researching online and could this be some type of fungal infection?
