Hi,

As per your complain it looks like dry mouth and soreness in mouth is due to side effect of medication and can be most probably due to Gabapantin. Soreness in mouth is due to dry mouth leading to inflammation.

- For dry mouth chew sugarfree chewing gums.
- Drink plenty of water.
- Avoid regular mouthwash and use specialized mouthwash that are formulated for dry mouth patients like Biotene.
- You can also instill artificial saliva drops.
- For soreness in mouth gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine.

If it does not improve consult your Physician and get evaluated.

Hope this information helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thanks and regards,
