What Causes Dry Mouth And Headaches?

I woke up this morning and my mouth was really dry, and headache all day and through out the day I noticed my urine was darker than usual so I started to drink water. All day I drank water and finally my urine turned clear for 3 to 4 bathroom trips. And now it s going dark again. Is this a bad case of dehydration? Or some thing else?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms are very likely related to dehydration. I suggest to do a complete blood count and an urine test for further evaluation. Meanwhile, I suggest to drink a lot if liquids and use anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the headache.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
