What Causes Dry, Itchy Skin On The Hand?

I am a 49 year old female that has not had a period since May 20. I had a month of brown, old looking spotting. It stopped for about a week, and has now started up again. I also have a patch on dry itchy skin on my left hard. I though it was poison ivy, but it is still itchy adn bumpy after a couple of weeks. Probably both unrelated. I am under a lot of worry, stress, and a bit depressed.
