What Causes Drooping Eyelid, Eye Contracted When On Treatment For Facial Muscle Twitching?

Sir, I am suffering from facial muscle twitching and underwent treatment in NIMHAS with BOTEX injection. After the second dose of botox injection, my eye lid is dropping and eye is getting contracted. at present I am not taking any medicine. I want to know what is the best medicine with less side effects so that I can help me in long time, Secondly I want to know whether surgery will help me and if so where in India the operation is being conducted successfully??? pl help

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having twitching of the eye lids and you are treated with botox injections.
The problem you have now that drooping of eye lid is because of effect of botox and it will be slowly recovered as the effect of the botox decrease.
The surgical options for eye lid twitching are less often practiced in clinical practice and do consult oculoplasty surgeon for further evaluation and treatment accordingly.
