What Causes Double Vision?

I am 56 female. Two weeks ago I noticed my vision deteriorate in a matter of minutes...my eyes would not focus. I couldn t make anything out, drivi g home I saw double road signs. Some side by side, SOME on top of each other. My glazsezz make my vision wors.se. also have shoulder pain and pain on bottom of neck

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Refraction should be done as there are Diplopia and an accommodation problem. The near vision test should be done with accommodation test and muscular movement test and the cover test should be done.

If there is squint and age is below nine, then it can be surgically corrected otherwise it will be the cosmetic correction.
