What Causes Double-dosing Vyvanse 30mg?

I am currently prescribed to vyvanse 50mg. I originally was prescribed to 30mg but then got switched to 60mg. I have not had time to get my prescription of 60 mg refilled. I have finals this week and really don t want to risk not having my medication. Is there anyway I could take two of the 30mg pills that I have left over?
