What Causes Dizziness?

i am 52 years old ,suffering from dizziness for the past two months.On consulting an ortho Doctor, he has prescried Vertin-16 for 10 days.5 days over ,i found no relief.But i have no pain on my neck.please advise whom to be consulted for permenent cure.

dizziness can be due to various conditions.check yourself to neurologist.get some ct scan of brain to exclude any pathology.

Well come to HCM
underlying cause of dizziness is important, there are two types of dizziness one is peripheral and second is central, orthopedic department nothing to do with this, most of the time the dizziness have dysfunctional vestibular system, ENT branch deals with this, with the proper drug of choice according to pathophysiology gives excellent results, you need to continue the medication little longer time, if ever given by ENT doctor, hope this would your answer, take care.
