What Causes Dizziness With Pain In The Back Of The Head?

Hello, my husbans started feeling dizzy on Sunday. On Monday night started vomiting. Couldn't raise his haid because he felt dizzy and was sick. Has stopped being sick now but still has the feeling that he is drunk, head is fuzzy. Can't seem to straighten his head and hold it upright without a pain in the back of his head. Can you help?

Thanks for contacting HCM. Your husband is probably having a cervical pathology most likely a cervical spodylosis. He should undergo a cervical MRI to confirm the diagnosis. Meanwhile you can give him following medicines-
1. Betahistidine 16 mg twice daily.
2. Ondansterone mouth dissolving tablet 4mg three times a day.
3. a pain killer medicine with muscle relaxant three times a day.
Diathermy locally will ease lots of his symptoms. He should avoid using pillows or should use a spondylitis pillow. Regards
