I am a 57 year old white female, average height and weight, non-smoker. Small amount of exercise 2 hours weekly walking. In the last 10 days or so, I cannot stand without getting light headed and dizzy. Sitting or lieing down I hear my heartbeat in my left ear.
Hi, From history it seems that you might be having postural or orthostatic hypotension where while standing from lying down position blood pressure falls considerably giving rise giddiness and headache. Go for measuring blood pressure in lying down and standing position and see the difference. Wait for some time sitting from lying down position and again wait for some time while standing. Ok and take care.
