What Causes Dizziness While On Omeprazole For Persistent Cough Associated With GERD?

Am desperate for something to stop my dry, non-productive cough associated with GERD. Took Omeprazole, it worked wonders for the cough but made me very dizzy. Holiday weekend is here, doctor failed to Rx me something else, I am desperate and miserable. Please help. Thank you.

Respected user, hi I evaluated your query thoroughly.
* Dizziness may be associated with any cough suppressing formula taken OTC
basis & you think it related to Omeprazole
* Additionally for annoying cough I suggest
- gargles with salted lukewarm water & peppermint oil 4-5 times/day
- ginger, tulsi, turmeric best herbs
- avoid oily / spicy / non vegetarian / beverages
Hope this helps you.
Welcome for any further assistance.
