What Causes Dizziness While Moving Eyes?

I felt dizzy when I woke up this morning. Never have such experience before. My head spin when my eyes moves from one direction to the other. It seems to be ok if eyes keep still to one direction. Can this related to my vision? I wear glasses. (note: this dizziness happens with and without glasses) All along I have decent blood pressure history. Please advise. Thanks

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to an inner ear disorder or an eye disorder. I recommend consulting with an ENT specialist and performing labyrinthine tests. Consulting with your ophthalmologist may be needed too. In the meantime, I recommend taking Dimenhydrinate or Meclizine for the dizziness.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
