What Causes Dizziness Upon Turning The Head To The Right Side?

At night when I turn over to my right side, I get dizzy. Sometimes when I sit up from the bed, I do it very slowly because sometimes I get dizzy & then stand up & I m ok. The last time I went to the Dr., I was having pain in my right jaw at times & thought it might be from the Alendronate 70 mg & I believe she agreed because she took me off that med. I have only noticed that pain a few times after sleeping on that side. When I turn to my left side, I do not get dizzy at all & this only seems to be at night while lying down. Sometimes I have some pain in my shoulders, but think that is from sleeping on my arms. I m stumped as to what this could be. Thank you for helping me.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for your question.
I do understand your pain and discomfort.
As per your history is concerned please follow my advise-:
1)Tell your local doctor to show you how to make Canalith re positioning and if perfectly done 2-3 times per day there will be no dizziness at all.
2)Before doing exercise check your BP
3)Tell your doctor to add Vestibulosuppressant like cinnarazine but do not take for longer time

I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me.
Wishing you all the best.
Thanks,
I find this answer helpful
