What Causes Dizziness, Nausea And Dry Mouth After Taking Diazepam And Promethazine?

hi I have a bit of a tolerance to opiates and benzos so today I took 390mg of codeine around 3pm along with 50mg promethazine then around 6 o clock I took 10mg of diazepam followed by a further 25mg around 45 mins ago and I`m starting to feel sick and have a dry mouth no dizziness or fainting just a little concerned that`s all and was wondering if you could suggest anything?

Hi

I had gone through your query.

Promethazine is anti cholinergic medicines due to its property it can cause dryness in mouth by inhibiting secretions.

10 mg of diazepam is little higher dose and you had it around 6 so it if you are not feel sleeping it will lead to dizziness.
use diazepam at bed time to avoid dizziness.

Codeine is opioid derivatives and it may cause such effect.

I m wondering why you have been taken all this because it may cause drug interactions and side effects.

So avoid it or take your treating doctors advise for better assistance.
