What Causes Dizziness In The Morning?

THis morning I woke up and was so dizzy I barely made it to the restroom. After I got back to bed for a few minutes I was still dizzy. Finally I got up and started moving around and have not had any other problems.I don t drink alcohol. I have been taking 5 mg ambien for years and never had a problem. Do not know what caused this. Was going to wait and see if it happens again tonight before I call my internist. Any thoughts on what could have caused this?????
