my gyn doctor put me on provera 12 days ago. Im suppose to take it for 21 days. I had very heavy bleeding and his goal was to control and stop the bleeding. He also told me that after I finish the pills that I should start a new cycle period hopefully. I started the pills on a Friday, and by Tuesday I almost had no bleeding just little spotting. Now, 12 days later I have started experiencing light headedness, dizzyness,nausea, over the past 4 days. And now, i started bleeding heavy once again this morning and feeling tired, crampy and pretty bad headache all day. Should I call my doctor on call. It is July 4th but IM a little worried that this is not normal. I didnt think I would be bleeding while on provera. My doctor and I have been discussing options one being removing my uterus. I was on the birth control pill for long many years but even with that I had bad bleeding. Any thoughts?
