What Causes Dizziness At The End Of Sexual Climax?

Upon sexual climax I immediately felt weak and as though something had popped in my head. I stood up, walked for a bit, and then felt very dizzy and fell -- the world seemed to be moving in slow motion for a bit, and I couldn t think straight. This condition resolved within a minute or two, but I felt very cold and had the chills. It s been about half an hour, and I feel okay aside from a bit of lingering chills. Is this something to worry about? I didn t have any numbness -- just (1) the sensation of something weird in my head on climax; (2) ensuing dizzyness, weakness, and a lightheadedness that was severe enough to make me fall and stumble around for a minute or so; and (3) the chills, which are only now beginning to subside.

Hello and welcome.

This could be a case of hypoglycaemia which is common after the physical activity that is part of sexual intercourse. I would not worry too much, but I would also recommend a visit to your doctor to rule out any other causes for your presentation.

If at all you were sweating as well, then the solution is to have some sugar water, chocolate, or absolutely anything you can eat immediately.
