What Causes Dizziness And Vomiting?

I am a 52 year old woman, in generally good health. This morning, while sitting, I came extremely close to passing out. I laid down until the feeling passed, then got up and moved around. I continued to feel dizzy, and after a few minutes, I vomitted. I have continued to feel dizzy the rest of the day, and have had to be very careful to move slowly. Balance is poor as well. I have felt chilled all afternoon, and my thermometer says my temperature is 98.5. I have never felt like this before, and am very confused about what could be causing this.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would recommend you to check the blood pressure at this moment. Maybe you had a lower blood pressure at the moment.

Also, I would suggest you measure the blood sugar. The viral state you are having may contribute to causing this situation too.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
