What causes dizziness and shortness of breath?

Hello. My name is Cheryl. I am wondering about a few symptoms that I have been having of late. Dizziness when I bend over and sometimes even when I move my head, I woke up the other morning looking pasty, but I pinked up after a few minutes, I get tired easily and become short of breath with some exertion, but not with other types of work. I did have an episode of severe dizziness, which I went to the emergency room for, and was diagnosed with an inner ear disorder 2 summers ago. I am 61 and in rather good health in general, no major issues up to this point. I m hoping to keep it that way. Anything else I can tell you. Thank you for your consideration.

The shortness of breath with exertion should be assessed. The most common causes would be:
(1) Anemia- low blood count
(2) Heart diseases
(3) Lack of physical fitness
(4) Infection
(5) Lung disease

Thyroid disease and any of the above may also cause fatigue and dizziness. Physical examination and blood tests are needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
