What Causes Dizziness And Hot Flashes After Standing Up For Long Periods Of Time?

I don't think I'm actually ill, but when I stand up or move around for extended periods of time, I get a little dizzy, shaky, and super hot. I'm also pretty tired and I think it could have to do with work. My head isn't hot so I don't think i'm running a fever. Would you happen to know what it could be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thank you for you question, I am Dr Asanghanwa, from your symptoms, I could say you are suffering from a condition known as orthostaitic hypotension which is a reduction in the blood pressure after standing up for long periods. This generally leads to reduction in the amount of blood flow to your head and brain hence the symptoms. I would advise you consult a cardiologist as there are many causes of the above cited diagnosis. Wish you a great time and a quick recovery
