Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that ringing in ears is due to TINNITUS and is most probably due to perforation in the eardrum due to sudden trauma and as there has been sudden pressure difference round the eardrum there seems to be perforation..

Popping of ears leading to flowing out of air from ears is also indicating towards perforation..

I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Otoscopy, x ray, Audiometry can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

In case if there is a small perforation you can be advised antibiotics, anti inflammatory painkillers along with antibiotic and decongestant ear drops..
In case of large perforation surgical repair that is known as Tympanoplasty can be advised..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
