What Causes Dizziness And Headaches While On Doxycycline?

I have been taking 100mg of Doxycycline for 3 months. For the past 2 months i have been feeling nauseous, dizzy, headaches, more pain.(I have fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, arthritis) I haven t been able to do my usual chores. Thinking about stopping it.Can i stop it cold turkey ? Barb

It is understandable to be concerned about these effects but it would be best to speak to your doctor before discontinuing it so that a substitute can be given if needed.

It is ok to stop suddenly. Tapering is needed with medications that can cause dependence or associated with withdrawal symptoms.
This is not the case for doxycycline.
