What causes dizziness and fatigue while suffering from low hemoglobin levels?

My hemoglobin went from 14.6 to 6.9. I got out of the hospital on Wednesday the 26th with hemoglobin of 7.9. Today is Sunday the 31st. I still fell dizzy and weak. I get my blood retested on Tuesday the 2nd. It is normal for me to still be feeling this bad?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

This is a huge change in hemoglobin levels, and this is the reason why your body is in stress and you have these symptoms.

Keep controlling your hemoglobin levels regularly, eat well, and take your medicines.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
