I am female 37 years old Dx with Svts I was prescribed metoprolol 25 mgs I was taking the pills but I have discontinued due to exhaustion and blood pressure would get too low. I would also get dizzy, it did however slowed down my heart rate. Which is what is supposed to do slow down my heart because my heart rate was around 134 and get all the way up to 160. I am not taking my medicine and I do experience heart fluttered and heart rate beating fast that I can’t sleep at night when I get stressed it gets worst and when I feel like my heart is beating too fast I go back and take my mess but I don’t take it everyday. I am concerned and I know that I should be taking the medication daily but I hate the feeling of exhaustion, dizziness, feeling faint due to blood pressure getting low while on medication.
