Hello Doctor, I have been getting typhoid every year since 2012. Every time I have same symptoms like severe guddiness, and non stop cough. This is 5th time after the onset of these symptoms, I tested my self and widal showed 1:80,1:80 and ah, oh are 20. I almost avoid eating outside. Every time completing the course given by doctor. Please let me know weather its a cause of concern.

1 in 80 is not much significant to say typhoid fever, even previous exposure also may cause above results. Probably, this time you may be suffering from lower respiratory tract infection.

So, avoid cool drinks and freeze water. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your physician so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
