What Causes Dizziness And Breathing Difficulty After Inhaling Bleach Fumes?

I used Clorox bleach recently spraying in a closed room. I began to get sweaty, hard time breathing, nauseated, dizzy, everything I ate and drank tasted like bleach. Used again two days later and I got the same results but this time had air flow as I was using it. Taste lasted a few days of bleach. Then I felt normal again. What could of happened? I was working at the time.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It maybe due to inhalation poisoning.
An extent of poisoning caused by fumes depends on the concentration a person is exposed to, how the person was exposed, and the length of time of the exposure. When gas comes into contact with moist tissues such as the eyes, throat, and lungs, an acid is produced that can damage these tissues. Burning sensation in the nose, throat, and eyes. Coughing, chest tightness, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath. These may appear immediately if high concentrations of gas are inhaled, or they may be delayed if low concentrations of gas are inhaled. Please leave the place immediately, use anti histamine and bronchodilator. Use fresh air or oxygen for inhalation. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
