What Causes Dizziness Along With Leg Cramps And Mild Chest Pain?

Over the last 2 weeks I ve been feeling very off that s the only way I can really describe it I guess. I ve been diagnosedwith vertigo in the past and I ve taken meclizine and tried the exercises/stretching technique I was taught to do whenever i have vertigo. Medicine and the exercise have no effect on whatever is going on. I ve delt with vertigo for a long time and I cannot say that this is anything like it not only due to failed attempts with medication and stretching but I and very dizzy when I am up at or sitting even laying down.. And unlike vertigo it doesn t go away with resting or anything. It seems to be getting worse over the last 14days. I also experience leg cramping more so on the left leg, upper thigh area kind of in between my butt/hip. For 2 days i have been experiencing in both legs crap like discomfort almost like I ran 10 miles which I don t run nor have I had any physical activity to cause something like that. And I also have been nauseous off and on with all of this. I ve experienced mild chest or breastbone? Pain on my left side right above my left breast. Anxiety, anxiousness, very uncomfortable, feeling depressed. Scared to fall asleep at night, I love with my inlaws and my 3 year old.. I m a bit of a hypochondriac so I m hesitant to even say anything to anyone because they don t seem to believe me more or less or just tell me Make a dr appointment ( county health doctors don t seem to have much time to listen to me ) or they tell me it s my anxiety which trust me, this issue is causing me to feel some anxiety but it s not because it hasn t gone away for 2 weeks and with anxiety it goes away and hasn t ever caused me anything like what I ve been experiencing. I m just at a loss of what to do and I hate going to an ER or doctor becaiaw half the time I don t get listened to nor am able to communicate effectively.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thank you for trusting us with your query.
Am sorry that you are going through this.

would you clarify a few points for me?
1) how old are you? are you overweight?
2) do you have any medical issues? ( thyroid problems, heart disease, varicose veins, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol?
3) have you ever smoked?
4) are you on any medications including birth control pills?
5) do you have any swelling or water retention in your body? do your calves hurt when you squeeze them?

Depending on the answers to the above, I would like to rule out any embolic events( blood gets too thick or stagnates in certain areas and then forms clots which can be pushed into the circulation and get stuck in the blood supply of an end organ like a lung or heart or brain) and lead to stroke or heart attacks.

I recommend you see your physician immediately or go to the ER.
Any chest pain associated with giddiness needs to be investigated ASAP.
Hypochondriacs usually don't hesitate to talk of their symptoms, they would normally exaggerate it and try to seek help or attention. I advise you to trust your instincts as, hypochondriac or not, only you can and should take responsibility for your life and health. If they refuse to atleast check you out, insist.
Make them listen.
hope this helps and you feel better
wish you good health
