What Causes Dizziness After A Head Injury?

I fell on the stairs last night. I was really drunk and after hitting my head I don t remember anything post that. I take epilepsy medicines regularly. Right now I feel everything spinning around me and feel that I cannot stand straight. There are bruises all over the body. And it doesn t hurt per say, but there is certain kind of loss of balance. Should I worry or go to the doctor?

Hi,

Yes you have to consult your neurologist as early as possible. Because due to fall there may be concussion of brain or injury to skull bone or cervical bone or bruising may be due to thrombocytopenia or clotting factor abnormalities, etc.

Avoid high risk activities, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
