What Causes Disturbed Sleep, Persistent Diarrhea And Fatigue With Dry Skin And Hair?

Hi, have persistent diarrhea, with fatigue, exhaustion, dry skin and hair, sleep for an hour at a time then Radford two hours, sleep 1 hour etc. Have had diarrhea tests and an Endoscopy. No problems. Blood test for thyroid borderline, then next one normal. I can t go out and my husband is fed up too. Please help.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The symptoms of diarrhea, disturbed sleep, fatigue, exhaustion, dry skin and hair can be due to thyroid disorder - hypothyroidism.
You too have mentioned that blood test is showing borderline thyroid functions.
I too suspect that these symptoms may be due to abnormal thyroid functions.
I suggest you to consult a physician for clinical assessment and review of thyroid functions.
Thyroid replacement therapy may be required to correct the abnormality in thyroid functions.
After the medication starts, it takes around 1-2 months for the hormone status to become normal.
Thus, please consult your physician for further action.
