What Causes Discomfort On The Tip Of The Penis?

I have had some sort of discomfort at the tip of my penis for about 4 days..I had very little discharge (one day), but nothing on my penis, no pain in glands, no fever or anything else. The first couple of days stung to urinate, but now it tickles or nothing at all. I know that something isnt right for this to be ongoing for this long. I had tests, and current results show no immediate bacteria. Still waiting for other results, and havent had a blood test yet. Thoughts?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on your description of symptoms, it appears that you could be having a urethral infection. Kindly get your urine sample tested for urine microscopy along with culture and sensitivity.

Consult Urologist with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management. If the infection is detected, you need to be treated by a course of appropriate antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ashakiran S, General & Family Physician
