What Causes Discomfort In Neck Of A Child?
My 4 yr old nephew was crying so much because he was really angry and after a while he turned pale and almost fainted. But before that, he got a little confused and while he was crying he just started laughing out of no where. He also started complaining that he had discomfort in his neck. Can this be caused becauseD of the stress he got by crying?

This episode sounds yo me like a breath holding spell which is common in this age. How ever, similar presentation can happen in children with heart problem. So if such episodes occur further, I would have wanted a cardiologist evaluation. Neck pain can be a very non specific symptom which may or may not be associated. Hope this opinion helps you.
