What Causes Discomfort In Chest Along The Windpipe?
I sometimes feel this sudden sinking feeling in my chest region .. specially along the windpipe and below. It occurs almost 1-2 times daily and lasts for hardly 1-2 seconds. I'm a heart patient detected of HOCM and i also have some gastric problems .. is this feeling related to my heart rythm or is it because of the gastric problem. Rarely it's accompanied with dizziness but goes away within few seconds. Pl advice.
It is possible of arrhythmia also chest pain may be due to ischemia due to decreased ejection fraction or diastolic blood supply to the heart. Until examination, is done it is difficult to say what it is. Abdominal pain or bloating due to gastritis or food Intolerance avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. Please consult your cardiologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
