What causes discomfort below the navel?

Hi, I am a 55 year old male, and I ve had discomfort just below the navel off and on. I thought it might be from my daily coffee drink, not sure though as there s no acid reflex. I feel it more intensely if I m sitting in a slouched position. Also accompanied by tiredness/weakness. I avoid dairy, but do have greek yogurt with breakfast, maybe I should eliminate that. I also had radiation treatment for prostate cancer 3 years ago. Thanks for any thoughts, John

Discomfort below umbilicus may be due to urinary tract infection or cystitis or rectus muscle spasm etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please get the ultrasound abdomen and urine culture done. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

hello - I just started having pain below my belly button. I noticed if i sit up or walk up and down the stairs I feel a bit of discomfort below my belly button. What could be the cause? Also I have checked for a knot below my belly button and nothing is present.

I had slight pain/ discomfort from my belly button almost like the pain you get when you first get a blister. Well as I was looking at it I noticed a foul smell and some moisture. A little bit later there was some murky fluid with a pink tinge to it and I pulled out a clump of white hair covered in some sort of sticky fluid. Should I have this checked out?

My daughter is 22 and noticed that if she touched her belly button it hurt. She seems to have no other symptoms. She saw a clinician at her school and he could feel a lump below the belly button. Tomorrow she will have an ultrasound. After the touching done at the clinic, she now has pain when she sits down and there now seems to be a slight bulge.
