What Causes Discomfort And Pain In The Abdomen?

REcently had ct scan of pelvis/abdomen all is good. For the past yr or so I have had lower left stomach pains, feels like pulling also a pinching of my fat roll. That side is visibly hanging down more in the mirror when I look at it and it s just overall a great discomfort and pain is about a 4-5 on scale. Adhesions were found 14 yrs ago when gall bladder was removed doc stopped counting @90 he said but I have NEVER had syphilis. I do seem to have trouble emptying my bladder completely most of the times bowels seem to be a little more firm in the past 3 months or so,did have endometriosis they found then went back and did hysterectomy and oophorectomy also had my gall bladder remover laparoscopic as well as hysterectomy he went into navel also. This stomach thing has been going on for over a yr it first started out like I was stretching my belly like poking it out now it feels very similar to late stages of pregnancy like the babies elbow or foot is pushing on my abdominal wall, no fever , no known infections ie:uti just don t know what to do to relieve this major discomfort I am thinking more adhesions

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Since there is sagging and bulging with pain in lower abdomen, there is a possibility of a hernia and with the history of Gall bladder removal and hysterectomy with adhesions anything else is also possible.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Go for Barium meal and follow-through in the traditional way under direct visualization by fluoroscopy and thus find out the possible diagnosis.
If there is adhesion or herniation, you need a rectifying surgery.
Till then be on liquid diet and take laxatives to keep the stools soft.
Also consult a Urologist to see for inability to completely empty the urinary bladder and get invested and treated as per the findings.
Feeling the baby and baby parts can be due to a psychological condition called pseudocyesis and you need to consult a Gynecologist for proper clinical evaluation, examination by per-vaginal route, per-vaginal ultrasound and further management as per the causes found.
It is better to get the hormonal studies too and get HRT if indicated.
