What Causes Discoloration Around The Mouth After Applying Betasol?

hi i just started using betasol cream in combination with movate cream to lighten my skin....after 5 weeks i am a bit worried as the colour of my skin around the mouth got really light in comparison to my rest face colour ..do you know the reason for this

Thanks for trusting healthcaremagic for your health problems.

Long term application of corticosteroids (Betasol cream) on skin can cause dermal/epidermal atrophy and skin thinning.
As skin around mouth is already thin application of steroid aggravated it.
So avoid chronic use of betasol on skin.
