What Causes Dip In GRF Level After Taking Coveram?

I took Atacand for 10 years and my GFR level was kept between 62 to 69. I changed to Coveram 5/5mg in late Nov. 2011. Two and half months later by mid Jan, I had a blood test which showed a GFR of 52. May this big drop be caused by Coveram? Besides, my GGT increased to 113 from 15 and ALP increased to 113 from 102 compared with the test results taken two and half months ago before I started the medication of Coveram. What should I do?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Actually tablet Atacand is better than Coveram but the best medicine for you would be tablet Zilarbi. Also, start tablet Udiliv 300 for 15 days for raised ALP and GGT.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
