What causes difficulty swallowing ?

I ate a piece of apple a couple of days ago. It felt like it was sticking in my throat, on the side. Less than a minute later, I vomited. Last night, the same thing happened with a grape....I ve always been able to eat these foods before. Is this anything to be concerned about?

cannot say in your paricular case. AND progressive difficulty swallowing can imply a growth in that area like scar tissue or tumor. Getting it looked at by endoscopy or a barium swallow is generally advised.
