What causes difficulty swallowing?

I ve been to the ER 5 times for difficulty swallowing. Every time I eat something it feels like something is in my throat, I have anxiety disorder so I tend to dwell on the fact that I feel like something is stuck in my throat (reasons I ve been to the ER) my doctor says its just anxiety, but it doesn t feel like it to me. I m scared to eat!

If you have complaints and the doctor could not see any thing wrong on clinical examination then the best thing is to go for an endoscopy.
