What Causes Difficulty Swallowing When Suffering From Sinusitis?

Hi, I am 47 years old female, I just finished today taking amoxicillin 875mg and loradine allergy for the last 10 days. the doctor said i have a sinus infection, and i have fluid in my ear. i felt a little better a couple of days ago, but since yesterday i feel like there s a ball in my throat like before, and having difficulty to swallow anything food or drinks even my own seliver. can you help?

As you have explained in your narrative it seems very clear that you are suffering from severe throat infection nothing else. Treatment for the same is one antibiotic like tab Azithromycin 500 mg once daily after meals for 3 days along with some decongestant like tab wikoryl or tab diominic-dca three times daily after meals with tab rantac or tab famotid two times daily before taking meals. For soothing of your throat you can also take syrup asthakind or syrup bro-zedex 2 tsf three times daily. Apart from these medicines, you have to do salt water gargles or steam inhalation as it is also very beneficial in case of severe sore throat.
