my name is sundeep . I am 50 years old and weigh 60 kg. suffering from diabetes and it remains 115 fasting and around 170 pp . hba1c almost 6to 7. recently I am facing problem in urinating . It takes much time and i have to push to pass the urine . I have done rgu and mcu both are ok . but uroflometery is not showing perfection . what i am suffering from . pl help
Hello Thanks for query . Difficulty in passing urine abnormal urine flow detected on flometry strongly with normal Retrograde Urothrogram and Micturating Cysto Urothrogram suggests bladder outlet obstruction due to enlarged prostate .
You need to consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis. 1) Urine routine and culture. 2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis with specific mention of post void residual urine volume 3) Serum PSA.
Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
