1. Dysphagia [difficulty in swallowing] due to throat pain: This is the commonest type of dysphagia in general practice, occurring due to Acute
Tonsillitis,
Pharyngitis or
Laryngitis check with an ENT doctor to exclude the possibilities [if any] since if after inspecting the throat, it is not congested, one can think of true dysphagia
2. take more of bland,
soft diet, more of milk avoiding hot drinks and spicy food, no oily and irritant food.
. steam inhalation2-3 times a day.
. gargle with warm salt water, or wokadine oral solution
PS. If pain and dysphagia do not subside within 1 week, refer for oesophagoscopy and barium swallow
3. If you think of any pathology inside the ear, kindly consult an ENT surgeon for further necessary examination and management
