What Causes Difficulty In Swallowing?
Hi just wondering if you can direct me to possible causes for difficulty swallowing. Only certain foods, like rice and bread, seem to get stuck in my throat, and normally need to be washed down with water. Other foods and liquids don t seem to cause problems. Can you direct me to some resources to see if I can see a pattern to what is going on? Thanks

Hello,
We have to rule out possibilities like any lump or growth in the throat. Consult an ENT specialist and plan for a laryngoscopy to visualise the innermost parts of the throat.
As of now, you can take antacids like Omeprazole or Pantoprazole as acid reflux can also cause similar problems.
