What Causes Difficulty In Passing Stool?

My son is 11 months old and he does pass motion daily but they are hard and if its soft even, he struggles a lot to pass them. my ped told its normal but when i insisted he prescribe duphalac and told to give glycerine suppository. its been a week on duphalac but no satisfactory result yet.

Thanks for your query.
Constipation is usually related to diet.
Give him plenty of fluids,
Add fibre in form of boiled leafy vegetables,fruits,cereals.
Continue with laxative for dew more days.
Be in regular follow up with your doctor.
