What Causes Difficulty In Eating Solid Food Ina Aged Women?
My 76 mother has not been able to eat solid foods for the last 3 months. She can swallow liquids. She has been scanned and scoped and nothing is resulting in an explanation. She has lost 30 lbs in 3 months.She WANTS to eat and WANTS to live. She is dying of starvation. She has a yeast infection in her mouth, this is the 3rd round of anti-fungal tx but no success.

Difficulty in swallowing solids indicates that she must be having some problem in her esophagus. It could be a stricture, achalasia cardia.
