What Causes Difficulty In Defecation?

I am a 38 year old male and I have a problem after I go to the washroom.

When I am done I will wipe my bum like anyone else, I will even wipe a few times or till the new piece of toilet paper is clean. Only the thing I notice is that an hour later I am having to go back and wipe again, sometimes several times in a day. I have tried sitting on the toilet longer incase there is just more to come out and that is not it. I have tried pushing when I am done to see if there is more to come out and there is not. I have showered right after I go incase I am not wiping it all away and that does not help. After I use the washroom I am 80% likely to have to go back 1-2 times to "wipe again". I am too embarrassed to bring this up and find out if anyone else is going through this. This can't be normal.

This started about 2 years ago and was not very often, now it is pretty much every single time I go to the washroom. it is getting embarrassing to even get intimate with my wife as i have to go "check" before we do anything and after I am looking to see if the sheets got dirty......

There is no chunks at all, it is smooshy and I feel gross when I am walking (usually the first sign)......

Please help, what is it or could it be?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my surgical experience, this issue is not related to defecation, it is from possible fistula, around anus. You must get examined by a consultant surgeon for further line of management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
